Introduction-Scheduler Service

Scheduler Service manages the timing and execution of various tasks across the system. It ensures that jobs are run at optimal times to enhance system efficiency and automate regular operations.

The Scheduler Service has the following functionalities:

  • Ensures the regular update of agent versions for consistent host availability.

  • Monitoring and updating the status of agent commands (start, stop, restart) when delays or failures occur.

  • Removing unnecessary users from the AppsOne schema.

  • Identifying inactive users and deactivating their accounts.

  • Fine-tuning the details of maintenance windows for scheduled tasks.

  • Logging the status of executed rollup jobs in OpenSearch (OS).

  • Monitoring and refreshing the status of initiated reports.

  • Deleting outdated reports to maintain a clean and efficient system.
